holy crap I have been busy

....ok.. so I have a house now.

I think I figured out my sickly problem.
I appear to be allergic to sucralose and aspertame.
Great seeing as I am type 2 diabetic.

but it fits the timeline.
it started before I got diabetic.
I was having crystal lite drinks all the time. (mini mixes for bottles aspertame)
and after a few months of that I started getting occasional diarea.
Then after finding out I was diabetic, I started drinking all diet stuff. getting lots and lots of aspertame and succralose. my diarrea went outta control. dehydrated a few times, once even went to the hospital and put on a drip. sugars finally got down to normal, played with my pills alot. some of the pills were making my diarrea even worse. (my guess is that they had a sugar alternative in the pill or some odd reaction)

So I have avoided artificial sugars like the plague.
my sugars are much better now. still a tiny bit high and if I don't watch what I eat I can get a little high (9 or 10) but for the most part I hover around 5-7 after I eat. which is good.
and I am not taking any pills at all at the moment.. but I will keep an eye on it. I had it go up a bit high a week or so ago. (11) but its good again now.

So whats a guy to do. I have to talk to my doc about this. what really really sucks is the only thing I can drink is water. for the most part. pop and other drinks are crazy sugar, and everything else.. artificial sweetener. so.. this sucks.. but works. I occasionally have a flavoured drink.. most likely a juice. I can't even have any gum.. because it instantly makes my gut jump funny (try to find a gum with sugar in it.. likely just bazooka joe)

another thing that added to my artificial sweetener overdose.

Well we will see what the future holds.

as for the house

ITS AWSOME!!! except for the leaks, but we think we fixed those.

So lets see, I have had a birthday since last post, I have had a few repairs to the jeep, some mods, and started some serious house hunting. I have also bought a company, and umm... been through lots of doc tests to find out nothing much.

Wow! I haven't posted in a while. I Suck!

Well lets see, big news!

I Got a Winch! a very old Warn 8274. Won't be put on for a little while but its awsome and works and the price was right.. FREE!

Going on the Saint John Jeep club Run This weekend.. It will hopefully be awsome.

Keeping it short cuz i want to go out. but if I keep the posting like this, I will have a lot of HUGE NEWS by the next time I post.

trips, doctors and doggies

Well today is the last day before the big trip to Ontario and Canada's Wonderland!

WooHoo!!

anyways. but before we go there tomorrow morning I have to go see a new doctor, this one is a gastrologist or something like that. they are digestion and stuff doctors.
Its just an office interview, but its a start.

And lastly
Poochie is all better! well almost. her skin is clearing up, shes active again, too much so in fact. cuz shes suppose to take it easy for her back. and lastly the doc says she has a severe Hyper Thyroid problem. not too bad, just needs pills. vet says she may even lose weight because of it. and get more active.. scarily.

but things are good, and its only one month from my hostile takeover.

Lifted, Rockered, Rusted

Well the Poochie is feeling better after a really bad spell, she was very sick acting but it may have been partly a bacterial infection as well as her back let go again. Vet says her back is getting bad, so no more stairs, no more than needed anyways. basically just the 2 on the way outside now.

Back to less important news.
Jeep is Lifted! 2.25 inches taller, thanks to a lovely easy spacer lift. Also with the lift I got some spiffy Skyjacker Shocks to put on. also 2.5 inches longer.
Not really noticable but it is.
Jeep is Armored! Yup the Rocker Guards are on now. Kick Butt! Although whoever designed them had guarding in mind, and not actually attaching them to the Jeep.. 2 bolts can't have nuts cuz one is too close to the frame, the other, only gives me a 1/16" space to get my fingers in. haha.
But everything is on, tight and working right. Awsome! Can't wait to try in out at the end of august in the Saint John Run.
The only thing left to do to the jeep this summer is the disconnects need to be fixed so they aren't as loose as they are now. Got the stuff somewhere to fix it. Just gotta get around to it. haha.

As for me, still all the same problems, had a bad spell last night, still gurgley today. Have an appointment on August 2 to a gastronologist. well its an office visit but its a start.
